September 5, 2016 - BIRMINGHAM, AL -- The Birmingham Barons closed their 2016 Southern League season at Regions Field, dropping this afternoon's finale by a 3-1 final score. The Barons' finished the year with a 49-91 record, fifth in the Southern League's North Division. Spencer Adams spun 6.1 innings for a no-decision, fanning four Blue Wahoos batters while not allowing a walk. September 2, 2016 - BIRMINGHAM, AL- The Birmingham Barons battled back from an early deficit but could not come out on top in a 7-6 loss to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Regions Field.
