February 4, 2020 - Toronto, ON - Jimmy Brennan has strengthened his backroom team with the appointment of fellow Canada Soccer Hall of Famer, Paul Stalteri, as his First Assistant Coach. The 42-year-old joins York9 FC from Canada Soccer, after spending the majority of his playing career in Europe, where he represented Werder Bremen, Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham and Borussia Mî=B6nchengladbach. January 24, 2020 - Toronto, ON - York9 FC are proud to announce the signing and return home of local boy Michael Petrasso. The winger becomes the 3rd new player signed by the club for the 2020 season. The 24-year-old Woodbridge, Ontario native spent the Inaugural Canadian Premier League season with Valour FC in Winnipeg, making 18 appearances and scoring 6 goals. January 21, 2020 - Toronto, ON - York9 FC is pleased to announce the signing of forward Gabriel Vasconcelos to a contract, pending his international transfer certificate and visa. The Brazilian comes over from Sao Paulo-based club Corinthians, one of the biggest clubs of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, who took home the title last in 2017.
