Two Seminoles Join the Woodchucks

March 13, 2018 - Wausau, WIS - The Wisconsin Woodchucks have announced the signing of two more players from Florida State University. Infielder Cooper Swanson and catcher Casey Cribb will be headed to Wausau this summer. Swanson, a 6'1" freshman, will bring power to the batting lineup. As a high schooler, Swanson helped his baseball team to back-to-back 3A state championships in 2016 and 2017. He hit .420 with seven home runs as a senior and was an honorable mention All-American. March 5, 2018 - Wausau, WI - The Wisconsin Woodchucks are excited to announce that the organization will be accepting applications for a softball equipment package, courtesy of the Northwoods League Foundation. March 2, 2018 - Wausau, WIS - The Wisconsin Woodchucks 2018 roster continues to grow with the additions of Youngstown State pitcher Greg Dunham and Virginia Tech infielder Michael Fernandez. Dunham, a 6'0" sophomore from Salem, OH, will join the 'Chucks pitching rotation. The right-hander pitched 42 innings for the Youngstown State Penguins last season with 14 appearances out of the bullpen and 22 strikeouts. February 27, 2018 - Wausau, WIS - The Wisconsin Woodchucks have added three Oklahoma Sooners to the 2018 roster. Dylan Criquet-Danielson, Aaron Brooks and Justin Cooke will join the team this season. Criquet-Danielson, a 6'2" freshman from Marshall, MN will look to spark the batting lineup.
