Ockimey Hits a Grand Slam in 'Dogs 5-0 Win over Hartford

April 19, 2018 - Portland, Maine - Bobby Poyner worked a scoreless inning on a rehab appearance, then Teddy Stankiewicz dominated for six more scoreless innings and the Sea Dogs (5-7) earned a series split with the Hartford Yard Goats (4-9) with a 5-0 win on Thursday afternoon at Hadlock Field. Somerset Patriots Pitcher Scott Copeland's Contract Purchased by New York Mets

April 19, 2018 - Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots have announced that right-hand pitcher Scott Copeland's contract has been purchased by the New York Mets. He is expected to report to Double-A Binghamton. The 6'3" righty broke into the big leagues in 2015 with the Toronto Blue Jays. That year, Copeland went 1-1 over five games (three starts) with six strikeouts. Fisher Cats Need Just Two Hours to Beat Binghamton, 5-2

April 19, 2018 - Manchester, NH - Jordan Romano allowed one run on two hits in his second consecutive solid start and Lourdes Gurriel homered as the Fisher Cats completed the first homestand of the 2018 season with a 5-2 win over the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Thursday. Romano, drafted by the Blue Jays in the 10th round of the 2014 draft, improved to 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA. He walked three and struck out four. Roadrunners Bolster Sharks Staff

April 19, 2018 - Three members of the Cal State Bakersfield pitching staff are headed to Wilmington for the 2018 summer. Davonte Butler, Elijah Parks and Jordan Ragan join two local guys, Sam Luchansky and Caleb Bishop on the staff. The most experienced of the bunch is southpaw Jordan Ragan. The left-handed junior stands at six foot, three inches and hails from Oregon. Ragan spent his first two seasons at the College of Southern Idaho before joining the Roadrunners this season.
