Chicago Sky Select Diamond DeShields, Gabby Williams, DePaul Grad Amarah Coleman in 2018 WNBA Draft

April 13, 2018 - CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky selected guard Diamond DeShields and forward Gabby Williams with the third and fourth overall picks in the 2018 WNBA Draft Thursday, which was held at the Nike New York Headquarters. DePaul guard and Bolingbrook, Illinois native Amarah Coleman was also picked up by the team in the third round of the draft with the 28th overall selection. June 8, 2017 - CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky have signed Shayla Cooper, a 6'2 forward, from The Ohio State University. Cooper was selected by the Connecticut Sun with the first pick of the second round in the 2017 WNBA Draft (No.13 overall) and was later signed to a training camp contract with the Sky on April 29. Cooper played in 90 games at Ohio State and was the 33rd player in Ohio State history to record 1,000 career points. She finished her career with 1,070 points.
