January 25, 2021 - The Pride picked up their first win of the season against the Buffalo Beauts with a solid 5-1 victory on Sunday night.
The Beauts had a chance to get on the board early when forward Kristin Lewicki earned a penalty shot in the first frame. Boston netminder Victoria Hanson turned aside from the attempt to keep things scoreless, and shortly afterward Jillian Dempsey banked a shot off goalie Carly Jackson from behind the net for the first goal.

January 24, 2021 - Both the Metropolitan Riveters and Connecticut Whale came into Sunday's contest cruising; the Riveters were flying high after outlasting the Whitecaps, and the Whale won a dramatic shootout against Buffalo the day before.
Both teams matched each other stride for stride most of the game, but the Riveters edged out their opponent thanks to a timely goal by Theresa Knutson early in the third period.

January 24, 2021 - After a disappointing start against last year's Isobel Cup Final opponent, the Whitecaps were looking to bounce back in a major way on Sunday.
In the end, Minnesota came back from a 5-1 deficit to force overtime and prevailed in the shootout thanks to a goal from Haley Mack in the fifth round.
The Six scored three times in the first 15 minutes of the game to take a commanding 3-0 lead. Lindsay Eastwood struck first on the power play off of a beautiful pass from Brooke Boquist.

American Association: The new ownership of the American Association's Kansas City (KS) T-Bones have renamed the team the Kansas City Monarchs as part of a long-term licensing agreement with the Negro League Baseball Museum, which owns the rights to the Monarchs name. The Kansas City Monarchs played from 1920 to 1965 and were the longest-running team in the former Negro leagues.
