Metairie, LA - The Zephyrs fell to the Oklahoma RedHawks on Sunday in the 10th inning.
RedHawks third baseman Esteban German singled to right to drive in the game-winning run in the extra frame. German went 3-4 in the game.
Reliever Jose Veras (1-3) gets the win for Oklahoma after pitching the final 2.2 innings and giving up no runs and only two hits.
For the Zephyrs, first baseman Juan Melo had two solo home runs and also drove in another run on a single to lead the home team.
Pitcher Roy Corcoran (2-4) got the loss for the Zephyrs, after giving up a run in 1.2 innings.
Having won the Oklahoma series 3-1, New Orleans goes on the road and will take on the Iowa Cubs and Oklahoma RedHawks again. The Zephyrs will face pitcher Kerry Wood on Monday night.
