Winnipeg ICE Acquire Dylan Holloway's Playing Rights from Everett

Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg ICE Hockey Club announced on Friday that it has acquired the playing rights of 2001-born forward Dylan Holloway from the Everett Silvertips.

In return, the Silvertips receive a 2021 fifth round draft pick, a conditional 2021 first round draft pick and a conditional 2022 second round draft pick.

Holloway - from Calgary, Alberta - played the 2018-2019 regular season with the Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). In 53 games, Holloway recorded 40 goals and added 48 assists for 88 points. In 11 playoff games, he added nine goals and 13 points.

Holloway led the Oilers in goals, assists and points during the regular season and was second in goals and points in AJHL. Holloway was named the CJHL Player of the Year, received AJHL Most Valuable Player honours and was named to the AJHL South All-Star Team last season. Holloway was named to the AJHL South All-Rookie Team during the 2017-2018 campaign.

In addition, Holloway played for Team Canada at the 2019 IIHF U18 World Championship in April. Holloway registered two goals and four points in seven tournament games.

Holloway was part of the gold medal-winning Canadian squad at the 2018 Hlinka Gretzky Cup. He was a member of Team Canada Red that earned a silver medal at the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. The Calgary product also captured a gold medal in 2017 and a bronze medal in 2018 as a member of Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge.
