EL PASO, TX- The Wichita Wingnuts exploded to a 12-0 lead, eventually winning 12-7 in their series finale at the El Paso Diablos.
Dustan Mohr led the Wingnuts with a grand slam and five runs batted in, while Kevin Hooper added three hits. Pitcher Leonard Landeros didn't allow a hit thru five innings, going 7 1/3 innings for the victory.
Michael Thompson and Brenan Herrera each added a hit tonight and have both recorded a hit in all eight games this season.
The Wingnuts, now 5-3, head to Grand Prairie tomorrow for a three-game series at the Airhogs. Wichita returns home on Monday to begin a four-game series with the defending AA Champion Fort Worth Cats. For tickets or more information, call the Wingnuts office at (316) 264-4625.
