Wildcats Defenceman Connor Senken Traded to Sherbrooke

August 29, 2017 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) - Moncton Wildcats News Release

MONCTON N.B. - The Moncton Wildcats have traded defenceman Connor Senken to the Sherbrooke Phoenix, in exchange for Jason Imbeault.

Jason was drafted into the league in the 2015 QMJHL Entry Draft, 30th overall by the Phoenix. Born in Sainte-Flavie, Quebec, the 18-year-old forward stands at 6'2, weighing 172 lbs. Since his entry into the league, he has played two seasons with Sherbrooke, appearing in 124 games and recording 15 points.

Director of Hockey Operations, Roger Shannon had this to say about the trade. "We want to thank Connor for his time in Moncton, and wish him well in Sherbrooke. We are happy to acquire Jason in the trade, and hope that he can become a player for us down the road, in the meantime, he will play close to us in the Maritime Jr League."
