Weekend Preview: Two on the Road, One at Home

RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers (26-12-7-1) will take on two in-conference opponents in another three-in-three weekend starting with a series against the Des Moines Buccaneers and a tilt at home with the Fargo Force.

The Lancers will head east on Interstate 80 to faceoff against the Des Moines Buccaneers on Friday and Saturday. Prior to the upcoming weekend series, the two I-80 rivals have met twice at Ralston Arena. The Lancers are 2-0 against the Buccaneers this season, winning in their previous matchup on February 9th, 7-1 and then back on November 30th, 6-4. This weekend will be the first time the Buccaneers have had a home-ice advantage against the Lancers and will be the final time these two see each other this regular season. Puck drop for Friday and is at 7:05 PM. All of the action will be broadcasted on KOIL 1290 AM Radio and on HockeyTV. Saturday's puck drop is set for 6:05 PM and will only be shown on HockeyTV.

Sunday the Lancers return home to battle the Fargo Force for the sixth and final time this regular season. The Lancers are 3-2 against the Force this season, after sweeping Fargo at Scheels Arena on February 14th and 15th. The Force will be playing at home on Friday and Saturday against the Sioux Falls Stampede before making the trek to Omaha. Fargo comes into the weekend one spot and six points behind the Lancers in the USHL Western Conference Standings at 3rd place. Puck drop for Sunday is set for 4:05 PM and will only be broadcasted on HockeyTV.
