Weekend Preview; Hounds Tour Through Central Division
On the heels of a perfect home stand at GFL Memorial Gardens last week, the Soo Greyhounds hit the road earlier today in preparation of a three-game, five-day Central Division weekend.
Week 17 of Ontario Hockey League action will take the Greyhounds into North Bay Thursday (7:05 PM), Barrie Saturday (7:30 PM) and then Sudbury on Sunday afternoon (3:05 PM).
The team heads into action with the third-most points in the league, and an overall record of 27 wins, 10 losses, 4 overtime losses.
Their 59 points is good for a three point advantage over the Saginaw Spirit for 1st in the West Division with each team having played 42 games.
When the CHL released their latest edition of the Kia Top 10 rankings earlier today, the Hounds had moved out of honourable mention and into the 9th ranking across the nation.
