THE SERIES: It's the final two meetings of the regular season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Corpus Christi IceRays. Each team has won five meetings this season with these two contests being critical in the Drive To The Playoffs.

WHAT'S AT STAKE: Heading into action this weekend, the Amarillo Bulls trail the Corpus Christi IceRays by eight points for the fourth and final playoff spot in the South Division. The Bulls need to sweep both games in regulation to keep their playoff hopes alive with eight games left in the regular season.

STATS ETC: Forward Jared Domin collected five assists over the weekend in three games to take honors as South Division player of the week. Goaltender Trevor Micucci has done a nice job for the Bulls in the last four games by posting a win (his first in a Bulls uniform) and allowing just two goals in nearly 120 minutes of hockey. The Bulls penalty killing has been strong over the last three games killing off eight of their last nine times shorthanded.

ACROSS THE SOUTH: There are two other games going on this weekend in the South Division as the Lone Star Brahmas entertain the Topeka RoadRunners at NYTEX Sports Center in North Richland Hills, TX. The Odessa Jackalopes visit the Shreveport Mudbugs for a pair of games at George's Pond Hirsch Coliseum.
