June 30, 2010 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Charleston RiverDogs News Release

AUGUSTA, Ga. - After the RiverDogs won a rain-shortened game Tuesday night, Wednesday's game against at Lake Olmstead Stadium between Charleston and Augusta was postponed due to rain.

Charleston broke a season-long nine-game losing streak in gaining a 4-2 win over Augusta on Tuesday, a contest that was made final after eight innings due to a heavy rain storm in the Augusta area.

Thursday's doubleheader with two seven inning games begins at 6:05 p.m. Game one features Charleston southpaw Josh Romanski (1-2, 4.33 ERA) taking on Augusta's Jorge Bucardo (8-2, 1.96 ERA) who is tied for second in the SAL in wins and ranks fifth-best in ERA. In game two, Charleston plans to pitch right-hander Brett Marshall (NR), who will make his first start of 2010, against Augusta's southpaw Craig Clark (NR), who was just received by the GreenJackets from Double-A Richmond.
