Warriors Announce Two-Way Contracts

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Golden State Warriors have signed Juan Toscano-Anderson to the team's second two-way spot. Nico Mannion signed with Golden State earlier this month. Mannion and Toscano-Anderson will have the ability to spend time with both Golden State and the team's G League affiliate in Santa Cruz.

Mannion, 19, averaged 14.0 points, 5.3 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 32.3 minutes over 32 games in his lone season at the University of Arizona. The 6'3" guard was named to the 2019-20 All-Pac-12 Second Team in addition to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, ranking second in the conference in assists per game. A native of Siena, Italy, Mannion was a McDonald's and Naismith All-American as a senior at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix. Mannion was selected 48th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. His father, Pace, was selected by the Warriors with the 43rd overall selection in the 1983 NBA Draft and played six seasons in the NBA.

Toscano-Anderson, who was waived by Golden State on December 19, originally signed with the team on February 7, 2020. The Oakland native appeared in 13 games (six starts) with the Warriors last season, averaging 5.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.00 steals in 20.9 minutes. The Oakland native spent the first part of the 2019-20 season in the G League with Santa Cruz, averaging 12.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.39 steals in 29.0 minutes over 31 games (12 starts).

Per NBA rules, teams are permitted to sign two players to two-way contracts in addition to the players under standard NBA contracts. Players signed to a two-way contract may not be active for more than 50 games and may also provide service to the Santa Cruz Warriors.
