Voice of the Smokies, Mick Gillispie, to Appear on 670 the Score
SEVIERVILLE - The Voice of the Tennessee Smokies, Mick Gillispie, will broadcast a pair of Chicago Cubs Spring Training Games on the Chicago Cubs' Flagship station, 670 The Score (WSCR). Gillispie will be on the call on Sunday, March 24th (3:10 PM ET vs San Diego) and Monday, March 25th (9:05 PM ET vs Boston).
670 The Score in Chicago has been the Flagship station of the Cubs since November of 2015. Gillispie has been a part of the Cubs' Spring Training broadcast team for the past eight years, calling games from the Cactus League for MLB.com. He will broadcast the games alongside Zach Zaidman of the Chicago Cubs Radio Network.
Smokies fans will be able to listen to the Smokies Radio Network and Mick Gillispie all season long once the season begins on April 4, 2019. The Smokies Radio Network will be broadcasting their games for the 2019 season on Talk Radio 92.3 / AM 760. Fans will also be able to enjoy Smokies games throughout the 2019 campaign on the Talk Radio 92.3 app available in the app store.
