OTTAWA â Renegades placekicker Lawrence Tynes put his reputation on the line. Now it's time to learn the result.
Just a little over one month ago, former Miss Canada Lynsey Bennett challenged Tynes, the top field goal kicker in the Canadian Football League during the 2003 season, to a kicking competition at Frank Clair Stadium. A confident Tynes accepted.
Bennett had experience on the gridiron prior to the challenge, kicking field goals for Glebe Collegiate in Ottawa during her high school years.
POV Sports from the CBC filmed the challenge and will broadcast the results during a segment of the show on Friday, November 14 at 4:30 p.m. The segment will also air on Saturday, November 15 at Noon.
