
Two Houston Dynamo FC Players to Represent Honduras at 2021 CONCACAF Nations League Finals

HOUSTON (Tuesday) - Houston Dynamo FC defender Maynor Figueroa and midfielder Boniek Garcia were named to the 23-man roster for the Honduras National Team that will compete in the 2021 Concacaf Nations League finals in June.
Honduras will face the U.S. Men's National Team on June 3 in the first of two semifinal games played at Empower Field at Mile High. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. followed by the second semifinal between the Mexican National Team and Costa Rica. The winners of the semifinals will play in the tournament final on June 6 as part of a doubleheader that includes a third-place game.
Figueroa has earned 165 appearances for Honduras and joined the national team earlier this year for two friendlies in Europe. This is the third season for Figueroa with the Dynamo and the defender has appeared in three games this year.
GarcÃÂa has 126 appearances for Honduras and joined La Bicolor in 2020 for a friendly against Guatemala last November. The midfielder has earned six starts this season and has appeared in seven games for the Dynamo. This is the 10th season for Garcia with the Dynamo and he has earned 226 appearances for the Club in the regular season.
