Twellman Scores Hat Trick for U.S.

Foxborough, Mass. - The New England Revolution continue their 2006 preseason on Monday, January 30 with training at the Dana-Farber Field House at Gillette Stadium this week. On both Tuesday and Thursday, the Revs will train at 2:00 p.m. as well as 10:00 a.m.

Media planning to cover preseason training sessions are required to notify the Revolution Communications office on the day prior to the sessions they wish to attend in order to guarantee admittance.

Revolution striker Taylor Twellman scored his first international hat trick as the United States to a 5-0 victory over Norway in a World Cup tune-up match at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. on Sunday, January 29. Clint Dempsey and Pat Noonan of the Revolution also started for the U.S. and assisted on Twellman's first and third goals respectively. Dempsey, Noonan, Twellman as well as midfielder Steve Ralston and goalkeeper Matt Reis, who made several key saves in the United States' 0-0 draw with Canada on January 22, are also in the U.S. National Team camp in Carson in preparation for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.
