Greenville, SC - Greenville Triumph SC has signed former Lansing defender and captain Brandon Fricke for the 2020 season, pending league and federation approval.

"From my conversations with Coach Harkes, I know the club has strong ambitions to improve on the great inaugural year they had, and I'm excited to contribute in any that will help the club achieve its goals on the pitch and in the community."

Originally from Grimes, Iowa, Fricke spent his collegiate career at Butler University, making a total of 71 appearances with six goals and four assists. The 27 year old was drafted by the Colorado Rapids during the 2015 MLS SuperDraft and spent time with USL Championship's Charlotte Independence and Swedish club, Nybro IF.
