Tribe Announces 2009 Spring Training Schedule

Indianapolis Indians News Release
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians (Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates) will prepare for the 2009 season with a 16-game Spring Training schedule in the state of Florida.
The Tribe will open with a March 19 home game against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies). The Grapefruit League schedule also includes affairs versus the Las Vegas 51's (Toronto Blue Jays) and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees (New York Yankees).
Indianapolis will play its eight home contests at Pirate City in Bradenton, while the club will also travel to Clearwater, Dunedin and Tampa to face the aforementioned opponents.
