St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, June 4, 2008 - The following is the daily report from the Alouettes' training camp for Day 4.

Armstead

The Alouettes announced the signing of veteran receiver and return-specialist Jason Armstead this morning. He is expected at practice tomorrow.

Offence stands out

The offence stood out today, with the receiving corps looking especially sharp. The quarterbacks had a keen eye for Danny Desriveaux, Éric Deslauriers and Larry Taylor.

Coaching staff intense

The Alouettes' new crew of position coaches have kept an amazing pace to practice and have brought a high level of intensity with them to camp this year.

Coach Cahoon

Ben Cahoon became a coach for this morning's workout - he was sidelined with a mild hamstring injury.

University of Montreal staff on hand

University of Montreal head coach Marc Santerre attended practice with a pair of his coaches, including the Carabins' defensive coordinator, Dennis Touchette, and their defensive backs coach, Paul-Eddy St-Vilien.

Tomorrow' schedule

The Alouettes will hold two consecutive practices tomorrow morning starting at 8 a.m. The location will be confirmed in the early morning.
