Traffic Advisory: Harlem Ave. Lane Closures in Effect Near Toyota Park e-closures-effect-near-toyota-park Sep 1st 2016, 12:52
Chicago Fire fans traveling to and from upcoming Fire home matches are advised to leave additional time and seek alternate routes entering and exiting Toyota Park due to bridge construction and lane closures on Harlem Avenue already in effect.Traffic has been reduced to one lane on both the northbound and southbound sides of Harlem Avenue just north of 71st Street, resulting in occasional delays and congestion in both directions.
Fans who arrive at Toyota Park via the Harlem Ave. exit off of Interstate 55 are advised to bypass the delay by turning right (west) onto Archer Ave. From there, motorists will turn left onto Rt. 171 before heading left on Roberts Road and finally accessing Toyota Park via 71st Street.
Pub To Pitch buses also will be following an alternate route. Click here to purchase Pub To Pitch bus tickets for an upcoming match and avoid the hassles of driving.
The Chicago Fire are set for upcoming home matches against the Philadelphia Union (Sept. 3, 7:30 p.m.), Toronto FC (Sept. 10, 7:30 p.m.) and D.C. United (Sept. 16, 7 p.m.).
