Toyota Field to Host Chivas De Guadalajara and C.F. Pachuca in Exhibition Match

SAN ANTONIO - Toyota Field will host an exhibition match between Liga MX sides C.D. Guadalajara and C.F. Pachuca on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. presented by SPD Sports.

San Antonio FC Season Ticket Members will have an exclusive pre-sale window to purchase tickets to the match starting Monday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. Tickets for the match will then go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. CT and can be purchased online by visiting Ticketmaster.com, with prices starting at $32. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the AT&T Center box office as well as at all La Michoacana meat market locations in the San Antonio area, or by calling the Toyota Field sales staff at 210-444-5657.

Chivas is one of the most successful clubs in Mexican soccer and one of the ten founding members of the Mexican first division. 'El Rebaño' is one of only two teams who have never been relegated from the top tier and is tied most Liga MX titles won with 12 championships, most recently winning the 2017 Clausura edition of the tournament. The club has also won four Copa MX, seven Campeon de Campeones, and one SuperCopa MX titles. On the international stage, Chivas has won two CONCACAF Champions Leagues, most recently defeating MLS side Toronto FC in the final of the 2018 edition of the competition.

Founded in 1901, Pachuca is one of the oldest clubs in Mexican soccer and in the Americas, and is also a founding member of the Mexican first division. After years of rising and falling between the first and second divisions, the club established itself as one of the powerhouses in Mexico following their promotion to the top flight in 1998. Since then, the club has won six Liga MX titles, most recently winning the Clausura 2016, and five CONCACAF Champions League titles including a championship run in the 2016-17 tournament. Pachuca has also won one North American SuperLiga and one Copa Sudamericana title.

An 8,000-seat stadium, Toyota Field opened in 2013 and has been the home of the USL club San Antonio FC since the spring of 2016. The facility was acquired in 2015 by the City of San Antonio and Bexar County, in partnership with Spurs Sports & Entertainment who now control all operations of the facility along with the neighboring STAR Soccer Complex.
