
Tomo Ohka from Milwaukee Brewers to start for Manatees

[DAYTONA BEACH, FL] When the Cubs (7-2) return home tomorrow to host the Brevard County Manatees (3-5), Daytona will be facing a Major League pitcher with almost 50 career Major League wins. Tomo Ohka (2-1 this season, 46-54 in his MLB career) will take the mound for Brevard County in his first rehab start since he was placed on the disabled list on May 3.
Ohka, who has been rehabbing a partial rotator cuff tear, is in his eighth season of Major League Baseball and his second with the Brewers. The right-hander has pitched in 162 career MLB games with 150 of them being starts.
Ohka's appearance will mark the first MLB rehab to take place at Jackie Robinson Ballpark this season. The Cubs return home for the first of two against the Manatees and the first of eight games on the home stand. Daytona has won five games in a row including a four game sweep of the recent road trip.
