Today's USL eCup FIFA20 Match: Hounds vs. Greenville Triumph SC

Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC opens this week of USL eCup: FIFA20 Edition action with a Division A matchup against Greenville Triumph SC at 9 p.m. tonight. The Hounds will continue to control the Belgium National Team and Greenville is using the Robert Lewandowski-led Poland National Team.

Alex Williams, a fan of the Riverhounds, will take the controls for the match at 9 p.m. tonight. The match is available to stream on the club's Twitch channel.

The tournament started last week with a qualifying round to gauge the strength of each club. From there, teams were split into three divisions. Pittsburgh found itself in Division A, the highest of the three divisions. The Hounds got booted from the week one bracket in the round of 16 by Union Omaha, which played as the Norway National Team. In the two games from week one, the Hounds finished with five goals on 12 shots and two goals scored against.

Pittsburgh's next opponent, Greenville Triumph SC, made it one game farther in the opening week of the esports tournament. The Triumph relied on their defense before their backline was torched in the elite eight, when they dropped their third game of the tournament, 4-0, to Hartford Athletic and the Scotland National Team.

The winner of tonight's matchup between Pittsburgh and Greenville will face off against Hartford Athletic in the next round of the Division A bracket. This match would kick off at 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
