Tiger-Cats Sign Long Snapper Crawford

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Monday the football club has signed national long snapper Aaron Crawford.

Crawford, 31, appeared in 17 regular season games for the Tiger-Cats in 2017, serving as the team's long snapper and registering five special teams tackles before suffering a season-ending knee injury October 27 at Ottawa. Over five CFL seasons, the 6-4, 263-pound native of Medicine Hat, Alberta has suited up in 67 games with Hamilton, posting one defensive tackle and 19 special teams tackles. Crawford, who played two seasons (2009 & 2011) with Saint Mary's University, also spent time with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts after being selected by the Argonauts in the sixth round, 40th overall, in the 2012 CFL Draft.

The Tiger-Cats also announced Monday the following player has been released:
