Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Tuesday that the football club has signed four international free agents, including offensive lineman Tony Washington, defensive back Cariel Brooks, defensive end Mike McAdoo and wide receiver Gerell Robinson.

Washington, 31, started six games at both left and right tackle for the Edmonton Eskimos this season before being released on August 7. The 6-7, 318-pound native of New Orleans, Louisiana, has played in 75 career CFL games, starting 74 times, over seven seasons for the Calgary Stampeders (2011), Toronto Argonauts (2012-13) and Edmonton Eskimos (2014-17). The product of Abilene Christian University is a two-time Grey Cup Champion (2012, 2015).

Brooks, 26, attended training camp and played in two preseason season games for the Toronto Argonauts this year before being released on June 17. The 5-10, 200-pound defensive back spent the last two seasons with the National Football League's Arizona Cardinals, appearing in three regular season games in 2015. The native of Miami, Florida, played three seasons (2012-14) at Adams State University, registering 99 defensive tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, eight interceptions, one interception-return touchdown and 31 pass breakups.

McAdoo, 27, briefly signed with the Tiger-Cats earlier this year, joining the team on April 19 before being released on May 16. He spent the last two seasons with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, serving on their practice roster in 2015 before attending training camp and playing in four preseason games in 2016. The 6-7, 250-pound native of Antioch, Tennessee, also spent two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens (2011-12) after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of the University of North Carolina. In 2013, he suited up in two games for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL, posting a quarterback sack and one pass knock down.

Robinson, 27, spent parts of four seasons with the NFL's Miami Dolphins (2014-15), Cleveland Browns (2014), Denver Broncos (2012, 2013-14) and Arizona Cardinals (2012). The 6-4, 248-pound native of Phoenix, Arizona, suited up in three regular season games for the Browns in 2014. Prior to turning pro, he played in 47 career games over four seasons at Arizona State University, recording 135 receptions for 2,071 yards and 12 touchdowns.
