The Captains announced their full 2011 Promotional schedule this week. Fresh off of their Midwest League Championship the Captains will hold a Champions Celebration on Opening Night, Aprill 11. The festivities will include a Championship Banner Fleece Blanket giveaway courtesy of Lake Health, Magnet Schedule giveaway courtesy of PNC and appearances by Cleveland area high school and college championship teams! The Captains will also bring back the always popular Christmas in July theme night on July 23. If you enjoyed last year's "A Captains Story" Leg Lamp Bobble then you'll love this season's Skipper Stuck on a Foul Pole Bobble! This season will also see several local and national celebrities grace the Classic Park field and concourse. Indivdual tickets will go on sale this Saturday March 12, at 9 AM. Come on down to Classic Park to purchase your 2011 tickets and have a little fun while you're there. Fans will receive free breakfast, tours of Classic Park and the opportunity to take some cuts in the Captains batting cages. The Cargo Hold will also be open for fans to purchase new logo Captains merchandise and Midwest League Championship items.

Hey Captains Fans, did you notice it's starting to warm up outside That means its time to dig into the back of your closet and dust off the old running shoes! This summer brings two great opportunities to get out and run for charity. As everyone knows a 5K is not an easy task.
