Trenton Thunder News Release


The Thunder (3-3) picked up a 5-2 win over the Reading Phillies on Thursday in Spring Training action.

C Rob Malec had two hits and a run scored, while OF Edwar Gonzalez was 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Phil Hughes joined the Thunder for a day to start and allowed one run in four innings on the mound. Yankees RHP Scott Proctor also pitched for the Thunder.

The Thunder take on Montgomery (AL), Tampa Bay's Class AA Affiliate on Friday at 1:00 PM in St. Petersburg, FL.
