Three Tailgate Events Make Party Bigger Than Ever at 2019 Grey Cup Festival Presented by Shaw

The 2019 Grey Cup Festival presented by Shaw is set to live up to its reputation as Canada's Biggest Party with the announcement of three huge tailgate events for this year's festivities.
With a tent large enough to reach from goal line to goal line, world-class entertainment and family-friendly fun, this is the can't-miss-event of the season for fans of all ages.
Taking over the parking lot on the east side of McMahon Stadium, a massive heated tent will house the FUSION Indoor Tailgate featuring FUSION: Music + Grey Cup powered by CP. Open from noon until late in the evening, FUSION Indoor Tailgate will give fans 18 years and older the ability to choose how they want to party and what to do on game day.
"With a vision of creating something special, FUSION brings together a love for music and a passion for football to offer something for everyone," said Ziad Mehio, Vice President, Technology and Food and Beverage for Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation. "We'll bring thousands of fans together, offer them an expansive menu and a wide selection of beverages and create an unforgettable atmosphere."
Tickets are $95 and will include a star-studded lineup for pre- and post-game concerts. Headlining the evening will be multiple CCMA and Juno award winner Brett Kissel, with Dan Davidson and Nice Horse.
FUSION: Music + Grey Cup will also create a music festival experience in the days leading up to Sunday's main event. Friday's hip-hop concert will be headlined by Fetty Wap with special guest Cartel Madras. The excitement continues Saturday evening with electronic dance music (EDM) sets with headliner Nervo with Young Bombs.
The Outdoor Tailgate will be the ultimate open-air celebration before the 107th Grey Cup presented by Shaw kicks off. The ticketed event will feature live performances by Toque, one of Canada's best classic rock cover bands, as well as Practically Hip, the country's premier Tragically Hip tribute act. Traditional tailgate fare and adult beverages will be available for purchase at the all-ages event. Tickets are $35.
The FREE Fan Zone will transform the northeast corner lot of McMahon Stadium into a CFL-themed festival experience. Friends of the CFL will offer a variety of games, interactive stations and giveaways to ensure that fans are ready for the big game.
Tickets for the FUSION Indoor Tailgate and the Outdoor Tailgate will be available for purchase on Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. MT. The two join a number of ticketed events already on-sale as part of the 2019 Grey Cup Festival presented by Shaw, including the Shaw CFL Awards, the Canadian Tire CFL Alumni Association Legends Luncheon, the Alberta Blue Cross Grey Cup Gala Dinner, the Cheer Extravaganza, the first-ever Grey Cup Rodeo, the SiriusXM Saturday Night Concert presented by Coors Light, and more. The 107th Grey Cup presented by Shaw will be played on Sunday, Nov. 24 in Calgary at McMahon Stadium. A limited number of tickets are still available starting at $119 at Ticketmaster.ca/GreyCup
