The Roughnecks presented their new slogan, television ad concepts, and jingle components at a gala unveiling today at Sewell Ford. State of the art electronics, circus themed performers, a comedian and a live performance by writer of the song Roughneck Land, Brandon Lee were just a few of the elements presented. All of these elements will be used in the Roughnecks advertising campaign which will begin around April 1st.
The Roughnecks have teamed with Panavista Consulting, a division of Panacore, in the design and creation of the 2005 marketing campaign. The innovation and technical expertise that Panavista brings to our marketing effort takes us to a new level of creativity. Stated Roughnecks President Tommy Benizio. The Greatest Show on Turf is more than just a slogan, it is our commitment and promise to deliver the best combination of professional football and family entertainment that Texas has ever seen.

The Odessa Roughnecks, which opened its season with a victory against Beaumont, will host its home opener April 23 against the Miami Morays at the Ector County Coliseum.
