Texas Stars Announce Six Guaranteed Home Dates for 2013-14 Season

CEDAR PARK, TX - The Texas Stars announced today six guaranteed home dates for the upcoming 2013-14 season, the club's fifth anniversary campaign in the American Hockey League.

The first guaranteed date is Saturday, October 5th as the Texas Stars will play their 2013-14 Home Opener. Prior to the start of the game the team's 2012-13 South Division Championship banner will be unveiled and raised to the rafters of the Cedar Park Center. To secure ticket packages which include seats for the Home Opener, as well as the five other guaranteed nights, fans are encouraged to call a Texas Stars ticket representative at 512-GO-STARS.

Along with the Home Opener, the Stars announced five additional guaranteed dates for their fifth season in the American Hockey League. Texas will host Military Appreciation Weekend, presented by SportClips for the fifth consecutive season on November 8th and 9th, as the team will wear "Stars and Stripes" themed jerseys. Sing for Santa weekend takes place on December 6th and 7th as local school choirs will perform holiday favorites during both games. The Stars will also be continuing the popular Friday $3 Beer Night and Saturday Family Four Pack promotions for every Friday and Saturday home game of the 2013-14 season.

- Saturday, October 5, 2013 - Home Opener - South Division Banner Raising - Family Four Pack Night

- Friday, November 8, 2013 - Military Appreciation Weekend presented by SportClips - $3 Beer Night

- Saturday, November 9, 2013 - Military Appreciation Weekend presented by SportClips - Family Four Pack Night

- Friday, December 6, 2013 - Sing for Santa Weekend - $3 Beer Night

- Saturday, December 7, 2013 - Sing for Santa Weekend - Family Four Pack Night

- Friday, January 10, 2014 - $3 Beer Night

Opponents, start times and the full promotional calendar will be announced when the complete 2013-14 American Hockey League schedule is released later this summer. Additionally, individual game tickets will go on sale after the full schedule is announced. All promotions are subject to change.
