Sylvestre, Miller Named to NASL Team of the Week

CARY, N.C. - Brian Sylvestre and Steven Miller have been named to the Team of the Week for Week 6 of the NASL Spring Season after helping North Carolina FC secure a 1-0 win on the road at Puerto Rico FC. It marks the second NASL Team of the Week appearance for both players this season, as Sylvestre has made the team for two-straight weeks and Miller earned a spot on the team in Week 4.

Sylvestre registered another solid effort between the posts, making five saves to earn his first shutout of the season. He's up to 21 saves this season and remains tied for the league lead in saves.

Miller scored the only goal in the match and helped the NCFC backline keep the shutout to earn his spot on the Team of the Week. Miller headed home a cross from Lance Laing in the 28th minute for his first goal of the 2017 season. He also had four clearances and two interceptions on the defensive end.
