CORTES COMES BACK: Left-hander Nestor Cortes was promoted from Trenton on Friday. He was originally selected by the Yankees in the 36th round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft and has pitched for the RailRiders during each of the last two seasons. Cortes was a Rule 5 pick by Baltimore in December and made four appearances for the Orioles this season. He did not factor in a decision, but had a 7.71 ERA over four outings and was returned to the Yankees. The southpaw allowed one run on three hits in his lone appearance for the Thunder.
