Strike Force Sign QB Quinn McQueary

November 22, 2019 - Indoor Football League (IFL) - San Diego Strike Force News Release

SAN DIEGO, California - The Strike Force have signed quarterback Quinn McQueary to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.

McQueary (6-2, 205, Montana Tech University) signs with San Diego for his first season in the IFL. Prior to the Strike Force, Quinn spent time with the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football (AAF), the Albany Empire of the Arena Football League (AFL), and participated in The Spring League.

"Quinn plays fearless and beyond his abilities as a passer, he can be deceptively effective in the run game," said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. "The experience he's gained over the past few years between the arena and professional outdoor game is extremely valuable. We're looking forward to seeing that experience in training camp."

McQueary completed his collegiate career at Montana Technological University (Butte, MT). After starting five games in 2015, he went on to lead the Orediggers to a Frontier Conference championship the following season as he threw for 3,021 yards and 26 touchdowns. That season, he also set a single-game program records for passing yards (414 vs. MSU-Northern) and tied the record for touchdown passes (5 vs. Rocky Mountain College) while leading the Frontier Conference in Pass Efficiency and ranking second in Passing Yards and Total Offense per Game (312.5 yards/g). After a successful 2017 campaign, Quinn finished his career as an Oredigger with 6,682 passing yards and 52 touchdowns on 508 completions.

Quinn was a dual position player at Manhattan High School where he led the Tigers to a 26-10 record, completing 317 out of 558 attempts for 4,719 yards. At defensive back, he recorded 282 tackles, 17 pass breakups, and 11 interceptions. He was named All-State honors at defensive back, first-team All-state at quarterback (four times) and MVP of the Montana East-West Shrine Game.
