Strike Force Re-Sign Defensive Back Johnson

San Diego Strike Force News Release
SAN DIEGO, California - The Strike Force have re-signed defensive back E.J. Johnson to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.
Johnson (5-10, 195, Rockford was picked up halfway through the Strike Force's inaugural season and appeared in nine games en route to finishing second on the team in solo tackles (25) and fourth in total tackles (35). He ended with two tackles for loss along with two pass breakups and a fumble recovery for 31 yards.
"EJ was another guy we added in the second half of the season that became an asset for the organization on the field and in the locker room," said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. "We're excited to add his experience and depth to our secondary as we bring in a talented group of defenders in for 2020."
Johnson made his way to the Strike Force after playing in the Champions Indoor Football League for the Dodge City Law and Salina Liberty. The California native played collegiately at Rockford University where he earned Special Team Student-Athlete of the Week in 2012 by the Northern Athletic Conference. Johnson picked off seven passes to go along with 24 tackles and a fumble recovery in his junior year.
