
Stockton Kings Fall to Santa Cruz Warriors in Back-To-Back Series

The Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, suffered a 125-114 defeat to the Santa Cruz Warriors (Golden State Warriors affiliate) on Saturday at Stockton Arena. The Kings were led by DJ Steward who scored 24 points, on 9-of-19 shooting, and dished out 11 assists.
The Warriors picked up their sixth win of the 2022-23 season and commanded a double-digit lead for much of the contest.
For Stockton (4-6), Chima Moneke continued his recent scoring hot-streak, posting 16 points and grabbing five rebounds to earn his seventh game of the season with 10-plus points. Additionally, the Kings had four other players with 10-plus point performances in Alex O'Connell (14), Neemias Queta (14), Keon Ellis (10) and Chance Comanche who delivered 18 points after being sidelined for six games due to an MCL sprain.
Warriors' James Wiseman earned a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. In addition, Santa Cruz was powered by double-digits points from six players in Dusty Hannahs (23), Ryan Rollins (22), Jerome Robinson (21), Lester Quinones (15), Trevion Williams (12) and Gui Santos (10).
Next, the Kings will take a trip to Salt Lake City on Monday, December 5 for a 7:00 p.m. PT tip at the Maverik Center.
