Stars 2012 season tickets on sale now The NSC Minnesota Stars are in the thick of the playoff hunt in the North American Soccer League's inaugural 2011 season, but the club is already excited about 2012. Stars season tickets for 2012 will go on sale on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, with special pricing until September 30 for new and renewing season ticket holders. All tickets purchased before that date will be sold at the 2011 prices and will include two passes to a year-end, VIP screening of "Shine On," an online video series documenting the team.
With the exception of pitch side tickets, 2012 season ticket packages include 14 "flex" tickets, which can be used in any combination. Pitch side packages contain 14 game-specific tickets due to the limited availability of on-field seating. Season ticket holders needing extra tickets will also be able to purchase single-game tickets in advance for $1 less than the pre-sale price. All season ticket holders will have playoff ticket priority and will receive a discount on playoff and exhibition game tickets, as well as discounts on team merchandise and express lines for NSC Stadium concessions, including the Stars Beer Garden.
2012 season tickets are currently available only by phone and fax. To order, call the Stars' ticket office at (763) 792-7355, or download the season ticket order form and fax it to (763) 792-3993.
Stars team up with Rock the Cure for Breast Cancer Awareness Night 8/27
The NSC Minnesota Stars are hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness night on August 27, 2011. Support breast cancer awareness by purchasing a ticket for the Saturday night home game as the Stars take on the Montreal Impact at the NSC Stadium in Blaine, MN.
Rock the Cure will be taking part in the event and there will be live music in the Plaza before the game. The Stars will wear pink jerseysthat were donated by Admiral with custom printing by Planet Soccer for the all-out pink theme. The jerseys were will be auctioned offduring the game, and all proceeds will go to benefit breast cancer awareness. Special Stars merchandise will also be on sale during the game.
Stars and The Caring Tree partner to raise school supplies for MN children in August Throughout the month of August the NSC Minnesota Stars are partnering with The Caring Tree, an organization that helps children living below the poverty level in Minnesota by providing them with essential back-to-school supplies. The organization has lent a hand to nearly 192,000 students since its creation in 1993, supplying kids with the tools they need to kick off a successful school year.
The Caring Tree collects donations for students K-12 throughout Minnesota. There are 30 necessary school supplies that students receive, including everything from notebooks and pens to rulers and backpacks. The organization also accepts cash donations, and for every $20 raised, a child is provided with all of the 30 necessary supplies for the school year.
The NSC Minnesota Stars will be collecting both supplies and cash donations throughout the month of August. Donations will be collected at the Stars home games on August 10 and August 27. Throughout the month the Stars will be collecting donations at Bricks Pub in Blaine, MN. Donations will also be collected at Sweetwater Bar and Grill in St. Paul during Stars away games.
