STARS POND HOCKEY COMES TO SEWARD FEBRUARY 4
LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars will bring hockey out to Seward for a 3-on-3 pond hockey event at the Seward County Fairgrounds on Sunday, Feb. 4 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
"We are excited to bring our love of hockey to the community of Seward," said Jess Framke, Stars Sr. Director of Marketing, Promotions and Corporate Partnerships. "Most early experiences for these players with hockey came on ponds and lakes back home. We're thrilled to be part of this event and to expand the Stars to surrounding communities."
The Stars will play two 45-minute sessions of 3-on-3 hockey beginning at 2:30 p.m. on the pond at Independence Landing. Half of the team during the first session and half of the team at the second session. Harvest Hall, which is adjacent to the pond, will be open for patrons with player autographs, table games and other various activities throughout the event.
Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased by contacting the Seward County Chamber of Commerce at 402-643-4189 or by stopping by their office at 616 Bradford Street in Sweard. In addition, tickets can be purchased at the event, through the Milford Chamber of Commerce or through the Utica Commercial Club.
The Stars take on the Omaha Lancers on Friday, Jan. 26 at 7:05 p.m. from Ralston Arena. The Stars return to the Ice Box on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 7:05 p.m.
