Stars Announce Dates for Western Conference Semifinals

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars, in conjunction with the United States Hockey League (USHL), have announced dates for the 2018 Western Conference Semifinals of the Clark Cup Playoffs.
The Stars will play the Western Conference Semifinals against the Waterloo Black Hawks in a best-of-five series. Below is the schedule for the upcoming round (home games in bold):
Game 1: Saturday, Apr. 21 - 7:05 p.m. - Young Arena
Game 2: Sunday, Apr. 22 - 5:05 p.m. - Young Arena
Game 3: Wednesday, Apr. 25 - 7:05 p.m. - The Ice Box
Game 4: Thursday, Apr. 26 - 7:05 p.m. - The Ice Box (if necessary)
Game 5: Saturday, Apr. 28 - 7:05 p.m. - Young Arena (if necessary)
The winner of the best-of-five series will advance to the Western Conference Final against the winner of Omaha/Fargo.
The Stars meet the Black Hawks in the Western Conference Semifinals for the second time in three seasons as well as the second-straight playoffs for Lincoln. The Stars fell 3-1 in the 2016 Western Conference Semifinals during their last meeting. This is the third all-time meeting between the Stars and Black Hawks in the Clark Cup Playoffs in the Tier I Era. The Stars split their regular season series with the Black Hawks, winning their last two meetings.
