Stamps to Help Spread Christmas in January

As part of their ongoing community partnership with CUPS, the Calgary Stampeders will offer support for the local organization at its Christmas in January event on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Spencer Wilson, the team's official player representative for CUPS, will be joined by five of his teammates in serving a belated holiday meal to hundreds of low-income Calgarians.

The Hyatt Regency will once again fulfill the food and staffing requirements.

Members of the media are invited to attend and conduct interviews with players as well as CUPS representatives.

What: CUPS Christmas in January

Who: Brad Erdos, Rene Paredes, Charlie Power, Justin Renfrow, Spencer Wilson and Anthony Woodson

When: Tuesday, Jan. 16 from 5-7 p.m.

Where: CUPS; 1001 10th Ave. SW

For 26 straight years, the Stampeders have supported CUPS by actively participating at events such as Christmas in January and The Annual CUPS/Stampeders Kickoff Breakfast each May.

CUPS is a not-for-profit organization that remains on the forefront of helping the most vulnerable individuals and families in our city by assisting with health, education and housing needs.
