Stamps Add Oren Wilson to Practice Roster

The Calgary Stampeders have added import defensive lineman Oren Wilson to the practice roster.

The six-foot-three, 294-lb. native of Teaneck, N.J., attended training camp with the National Football League's New York Giants in August.

Wilson began his collegiate career at Michigan State (2007-09) and recorded 43 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, two pass knockdowns and one sack over 38 games, including 26 starts. He sat out for the 2010 season due to NCAA transfer rules and played his senior year in 2011 at Akron where he suited up for all 12 games and recorded 38 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.

The Stampeders will host the West Division final on Nov. 17. Kickoff at McMahon Stadium is at 2:30 p.m. and tickets are available at Stampeders.com.
