St. Louis Ambush News Release

St. Charles, Missouri - The St. Louis Ambush have signed free agent midfielder Will Eskay to a three-year deal, the team announced today. Per league and team policies, no further details were disclosed.

Eskay is a veteran of three professional indoor soccer seasons. He played with the Harrisburg Heat from 2018 to 2020. When the Heat sat out the 2021 season due to the pandemic, Eskay came to the Ambush on loan, scoring four goals in five games played. Overall, Eskay has appeared in 48 career games, posting 28 goals and eight assists.

A native of Urbana, Maryland, Will attended William and Mary University where he was a three time All-CAA Selection. He earned a spot on the All-MASL Rookie Team following a stellar 2018-19 rookie season.

Ambush co-owner and General Manager Jeff Locker said, "We were impressed with Will during his brief stay here last season and I'm happy we were able to get a deal done to bring him back for three more years."

Eskay said, "I'm excited about rejoining the Ambush and looking forward to getting back into action."

The Ambush will kick off their 2021-22 season in late November with the home opener slated for Black Friday, November 26. Fans can stay current on all Ambush news by visiting the team's official website, stlambush.com and on social media outlets.
