Beloit Sky Carp News Release

The Beloit Snappers are looking to help out the Salvation Army once again this winter by ringing the bell at locations in the local area. This winter, the Snappers will be offering a special benefit to their fans who are also trying to help out during this holiday season.

Any fan who would be willing to sign up for a two-hour time slot to ring the Salvation Army Bell will be rewarded with one FREE general admission ticket voucher to a 2009 April or May regular season home game. Fans can then exchange their voucher at the ticket office for an actual game ticket.

"This is a great way for us to try and get our fans more involved in the community," said General Manager Jeff Vohs. "We get so much support from those around us that it's nice to be able to give back like this. Plus, this might give people a chance to get an easy and FREE stocking stuffer for Christmas."

Anyone interested in helping out the Salvation Army and receive a complimentary general admission ticket voucher are encouraged to contact either Dave Peltier at 608-365-9821 or Chris Marques at 608-365-6572 ext. 10. You must mention the ticket voucher promotion to receive one.

For more information, contact a Snappers representative at 608-362-2272 or 1-888-SNAP-2-IT.
