Sky Blue FC Announces 2019 National Women's Soccer League Schedule

Howell, N.J. - Ahead of the start of the 2019 National Women's Soccer League season Sky Blue FC has announced its full preseason schedule. The New Jersey team will face four collegiate programs at Sportika Sports leading up to the season opener on April 13 against the Washington Spirit at Maryland SoccerPlex.

Tickets to all four preseason matches are complimentary, but fans must RSVP in advance. To reserve your tickets, please click here. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Sky Blue will open 2019 on Saturday, March 16 against St. John's University, kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. ET. This will be the seventh-consecutive year that Sky Blue has hosted the Red Storm for an exhibition match. Sky Blue is undefeated against St. John's across all competitions, outscoring the collegiate program 15-1.

Next the team will face the University of West Virginia for the second-straight year on Saturday, March 23, kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. ET. In their first year under Head Coach Denise Reddy Sky Blue defeated the Mountaineers 1-0 during last year's preseason matchup.

On Friday, March 29, Sky Blue will take on Rutgers University for only the second time in program history, kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET. These two teams previously met during the 2015 NWSL preseason, a match that saw Sky Blue finish with a 2-0 victory. Rutgers' Yurcak Field serves as the location for all Sky Blue FC home games.

Finally, Sky Blue will conclude their preseason on Saturday, April 6 against the University of North Carolina, kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. ET. This match will mark the sixth time these two teams have met, with Sky Blue holding a 4-1 record over the Tar Heels.

Sky Blue will begin its seventh season with preseason camp starting on March 4, with the first official match on April 13. Season Ticket Memberships are available now and single game tickets can be purchased beginning on Monday, March 4.
