Sioux City Adds Josh Bohlin

Sioux City Musketeers News Release
SIOUX CITY, IA - The Musketeers continued to tweak their roster Monday afternoon with the acquisition of Josh Bohlin from the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. In exchange for the 6'1" 185lb forward, Sioux City gives up a 2019 Phase II 5th round pick to Cedar Rapids.
Bohlin spent the entire 2017-18 season in Cedar Rapids where he appeared in 50 games for the RoughRiders and recorded two goals along with 11 assists. With those 50 USHL games under his belt Bohlin brings valuable experience to a relatively young forward group and Head Coach Luke Strand cited this as a big reason for Bohlin's acquisition "Josh brings size, speed and a strong skill set to our forward group. His USHL experience will add to our team both on and off the ice."
Bohlin appeared in just one preseason game for the RoughRiders this year, but he made it count scoring a goal and adding an assist against the Des Moines Buccaneers. The native of Wausau, Wisconsin is committed to the University of Wisconsin making him the third future Badger on the Musketeers' roster.
Bohlin will have to hit the ground running as the Musketeers open the regular season in just four days when they take on the Green Bay Gamblers at the 2018 USHL Fall Classic. Puck drop is set for 10:00am EST. You can catch the game live on HockeyTV or 620 KMNS.
The Musketeers will open their home schedule on October 20th against longtime rival, the Waterloo Black Hawks. Individual game tickets go on sale October 1st, for more info visit Musketeerhockey.com, Tysoncenter.com or call (712)252-2116.
