Single Game Tickets on Sale Tuesday, March 1

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats announced that single game tickets for the 2011 season at Louisville Slugger Field will go on sale Tuesday, March 1st at 10 a.m. The Bats are also proud to announce that there has been no increase in single game or season ticket prices for the 2011 season. Tickets to all home games range from $7 - $11, excluding Thunder Over Louisville.

Tickets will be available at the Louisville Slugger Field Box office, on-line at www.batsbaseball.com/singlegametickets or by calling the Bats ticket office directly at (855) 228-8497. Regular hours at the Louisville Slugger Field box office and for ordering tickets by phone are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Fans purchasing on-line will notice several new benefits for the 2011 season, including the ability to choose specific seats for individual games and print your tickets at home for no additional charge. The Bats have also substantially reduced the fees associated with purchasing tickets on-line and invested in a more user-friendly system that can be used to purchase tickets for all 72 home games, including Thunder Over Louisville.

The Bats open the 2011 season at home on Thursday, April 7th at 6:35 p.m. against the Toledo Mud Hens, the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and fans can enjoy $1 Budweiser beer and live music on the Overlook Deck from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. All fans that night will receive a free magnetic schedule.

Louisville will again host a game on Thunder Over Louisville Day, Saturday, April 16th at 2:05 p.m., as the Bats face the Indianapolis Indians. Gates will open at noon and fans purchasing tickets will have all-day access to Louisville Slugger Field amenities, concessions and restrooms. Thunder tickets range in price from a $20 lawn seat to a $35 first base field reserved seat. Thunder fireworks, which will be shot off the Second Street Bridge at approximately 9:30 p.m., are best viewed from the first base field reserved seats.
