KENT, Wash. -Bryce Kindopp earned a natural hat trick, the first of his career, while forward Zack Andrusiak notched a four-point night (1g-3a) in his return to Kent as the Everett Silvertips defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds, 5-2, before 4,513 at the accesso ShoWare Center on Friday night in WHL action.

The Silvertips potted four goals in the third period to seal their victory, moving to 5-0-0-0 this season over the Thunderbirds and winning the last eight meetings, while they went three-for-five on the power play, backed by a 29-save performance from Silvertip goaltender and reigning WHL and CHL goaltender of the week, Dustin Wolf.

Wolf stood tall in the first period where he turned away 14-of-14 shots. Everett landed five shots on T-Birds goaltender Roddy Ross, but traffic knocked down a lot of opportunities from the point. Everett went two-for-two on the penalty kill, a charging (1:08) and slashing (15:31) call committed by forward Robbie Holmes.

Seattle winger Andrej Kukuca put the Thunderbirds up 1-0 at 14:51, where he collected a loose puck rebounded off the back boards and snuck a backhander past Wolf.

Kindopp retailed with a shorthanded goal to tie the game, 1-1, at 16:37. Kindopp showed off his speed as he picked up a loose puck to create a breakaway opportunity to beat Ross with a backhand over the pad.

The Silvertips hammered 17 shots in the second period, a total of 22 through two periods, as the Thunderbirds totaled 23 through two.

The Silvertips put up four goals in the final period of play. Kindopp wired his second goal of the night from the slot just 26 seconds into the third, which put Everett up 2-1, off assist from Andrusiak and Minnesota Wild prospect Connor Dewar.

Kindopp netted his hat-trick goal on the power play, created from flawless tape-to-tape passes around the crease by Andrusiak and Dewar, to put the Silvertips up 3-1, at 6:42.

Thunderbirds forward Matthew Wedman interrupted Kindopp's goal-streak with a goal of his own at 8:11. Wedman netted the loose puck in front of a crowded crease, with assists credited to Seattle center Noah Philp and Kukuca, to make it 3-2 Tips lead.

Everett forward Dawson Butt extended the Tips lead to 4-2 as he fired a wrister from the circle, for his seventh goal of the season, at 14:11. Holmes and blueliner Jake Christiansen were awarded assists on the play.

Andrusiak scored fourth point of the night, and 35th goal of the season, as he muscled through two defenders and reached the puck pass Ross' pads to make it a 5-2 Silvertip lead at 15:23. Rookie forward Jackson Berezowski and rookie defenseman Ronan Seeley both recorded assists on the game's final goal.

The Tips finished with 35 total shots on goal.
