SEALS SIGN FORWARD JOE WALTERS

San Diego Seals News Release
The San Diego Seals announced today that the team has signed three-time NLL Champion Joe Walters to a one-year contract, pending league approval. Walters was with the club during preseason action.
"With Austin going down, we needed some help offensively on the left side," said general manager and head coach Patrick Merrill. "Joe is a proven professional and a winner. We are fortunate to be able to add a player and person of his caliber to help us down the stretch going into the playoffs."
Walters, 34, has appeared in 103 career games in his eight-year career, registering 73 goals,160 assists and 233 points. He spent his entire career with the Rochester Knighthawks and won three championships with the team (2012-14).
"Joe has great chemistry on and off the floor with our veteran players already which really helps when adding a player this late in the season," continued Merrill.
